A Remote Meeting of Dorstone Parish Council was held on Wednesday February 10th 2021 at 7-30pm Present: Councillor T Usher, Chairman, Councillor T Arnott, Councillor A Phillips, Councillor D Phillips & Mr C Hendy Parish Council Clerk. Also in attendance at 7-40pm Councillor J Hewitt to present her report, she left the meeting after her report Apologies; Councillor M Hession family commitment, Councillor L Aubrey-Cosslett family commitment Councillor B James working Golden Valley Police were unable to join, no audio on their computers. Due to the Covid 19 crisis the Parish Council were meeting remotely. The displayed agenda indicated the link to the meeting. No declaration of Interest from members on any item to be discussed made. No public present The minutes of meeting January 13th 2021 which had been circulated, were approved Reports; a) Ward Councillor; report circulated. Councillor Hewitt reported on the recent Herefordshire Council decision cancelling the western by-pass, schools safety crossing and parking concessions b) Police, February report circulated Finance Clerk’s salary for January 2021 was £128.46 Payment authorised b) Invitation to Herefordshire council budget feedback meeting. Clerk attended February 9th, Councillor Usher attending February 11th, slides to be provided for circulation c) Update on 2020-2021 donation applications. Clerk has written to Playing Field secretary, Village Hall secretary, no response, DFR, acknowledge information. Information also advertised on DFR newsletter Highways; a) Councillors discussed and completed the Lengthsmen & PP3 invitation to enrol with Herefordshire Council 2021-2022 and the Annual Maintenance plan 2021-2022 and agreed these documents were submitted b) Road closure B4348 at Gooses Foot for one week, off peak weekly bus services would be suspended c) Spring drainage work to be completed by end of March & grant applied for Core Strategy development Hierarchy Review Consultations Councillors discussed the consultation, the form was completed and the clerk to send to Neighbourhood Planning Herefordshire Council. Department of Transport, Future of Mobility: Rural Strategy- Call for Evidence consultation. Reminder the closing date February 16th with Individual response Western Power Business Plan & consultation, dates and items to be discussed had been circulated Information circulated from Herefordshire Council during Coronavirus restrictions a) Weekly Talk Community updates b) 2021 Census c) Polling Stations Date of next meeting, 24th March 2021 to allow time for the spring drain clean to be carried out and invoice submitted/approved before end of March.
